Last week, precious metals had a busy week due to the FED meeting, increasing coronavirus cases and the non-farm employment data announced in the USA. Gold and silver were adversely affected by these developments. When the news combined together with investors’ psychology, gold radically rolled down especially at international market.

Gold showed a bullish trend during the week but could not carry it until the end of the week. The highest price was 1829 usd/oz for gold at Borsa Istanbul. However, the yellow metal finished the week with the lowest level of 1792 usd/oz. Compared to last week, gold lost 1,9% value at Borsa Istanbul. Totally 5 MT gold changed hands at Borsa Istanbul. It was a fairly low trading volume. After Borsa session closed, gold declined to the level of 1762 usd/oz at international markets.

Silver spent a similar week with gold. Silver recorded its highest price as 25,99 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. White metal completed the week at 25,35 usd/oz and lost 0.2% value. Silver transaction volume was 9 MT at Borsa Istanbul.
