GOLD AND SILVER EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS

Last week was a very active and profitable week for both Gold and Silver investors. Gold price broke a new record and exceeded 2000 usd/oz. Gold price reached 2.081,50 usd/oz at Borsa Istanbul even more than spot international market price level. There was a very wide price band as 161 usd/oz. Gold completed the week with 2.069 usd/oz. Towards session closing gold met profit selling and finished the week with 2069 usd/oz. That’s mean gold gained %7,2 value compared to previous week. After Borsa session closed, gold some of gold investors continued to selling and yellow metal regressed till 2.035,12 usd/oz at international markets.

Silver also broke a new record and exceeded 28 usd/oz. Silver completed the week with 28,40 usd/oz. Thus, Silver gained %19,8 value at Borsa. More than 20 MT Gold and 18 MT  silver changed hands at Borsa Istanbul.

Last week there was very good premium up to 10 usd/oz. As of Monday we continue to see premiums like 5 – 7 usd/oz. There is a very good opportunity for physical bullion traders here in Istanbul.
