GOLD TRIED TO RECOVER AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Last week was a week when precious metals hit a selling wave. US inflation data and Producer Price Index announced. These developments also negatively affected precious metals. 

Gold spent a week trying to recover. Gold recorded its highest level at 1800 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. Despite this, yellow metal completed the week with 1762 usd/oz level. That means gold lost 1,67% value. The decrease in the price of gold reflected positively on the trading volume. Totally 12 MT gold changed hands at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, yellow metal rose to 1779 usd/oz at international markets.

Silver had a volatile week unlike gold. Silver moved around 24 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. The closing was 23,63 usd/oz level. Compared to last week, white metal lost 6,79% value. Silver transaction was pretty high as 19 MT at Borsa Istanbul.

On Monday morning session, Borsa Istanbul is active. There are still premiums up to 4 usd/oz.
