GOLD AND SILVER INVESTORS GAINED LAST WEEK

Last week gold gained ground and managed to close the week with 20 usd/oz gain. Especially the announcement of the news that the Central Bank of China lowered the reserve requirement ratios, the markets started the week on a positive note. Highest price is recorded as 1826.90 usd/oz at Borsa Istanbul. While price is moving high day by day, volume was not parallel with rising. Since last week was ahead of religious festival, market players’ actions was quite law. Just around 2.5 MT gold changed hands.
 
Silver also made its investors gain as 2%. White metal managed to remain over 26 usd/oz which is an important support level. In the frame of transaction volume its performance was very good as almost 10 MT transaction.
