GOLD INVESTORS GAINED AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Last week was a busy week. On the agenda, there were Jackson Hole meeting, FOMC (Federal Free Market Committee) official report and US Retail Sales data. These developments gave direction to precious metals. Gold also had a lucrative week at Borsa Istanbul.

Gold had a volatile week depending on developments. Yellow metal rose as high as 1796 usd/oz at Borsa Istanbul. Despite this, gold completed the week at 1786 usd/oz level. Compared to last week, gold gained 1,33% value at Borsa Istanbul. Although it was a small gain, it was hopeful for investors. Totally 6 MT gold changed hands at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, gold regressed to 1781 usd/oz level at international markets.

Silver followed a downtrend until the end of the week. Silver moved around 20,46 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. However, white metal finished the week at 23,45 usd/oz level. That means silver lost 0,7% value. Silver trading volume was very low at 5 MT at Borsa Istanbul.

On Monday Morning session, Borsa Istanbul is stable. There are still premiums up to 4,10 usd/oz. But there is no realized offer with premium.
