TRANSACTION VOLUME DECREASES AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Last week, the main development that guided the markets was the FED meeting. Precious metals had a volatile week while following the FED's decisions. Precious metals’ demands were also low at Borsa Istanbul.

Gold caught in a wave of sales in Borsa Istanbul. Gold moved at the level of 1768 usd/ oz and completed the week at the same level. Compared the last week, yellow metal lost 0,37 % value. Gold transaction volume was quite low as about 5 MT at Borsa Istanbul.

Silver’s move was more volatile than gold last week. Silver recorded its highest level at 26,43 usd/oz at Borsa Istanbul. Despite this level, the closing was 25,75 usd/oz level. That means silver lost 3,3 % value. Silver transaction volume was also low as almost 11 MT at Borsa Istanbul.
