SILVER TRADING VOLUME EXCEEDED 45 MT AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Gold had a week in which it was generally in an uptrend last week. Exceeding the 1870 usd/oz level as it was last week, gold recorded its highest level with 1873 usd/oz at Borsa Istanbul. Although yellow metal completed the week at 1866,50 usd/oz, it left behind a profitable week for its investors. Gold trading volume was above average at 5,1 MT at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, gold caught the selling wave and fell to 1851 usd/oz at international markets. Despite this, we can see that the yellow metal started the week with an effort to rise.

Silver also experienced a week in which it moved in an uptrend like gold. Silver continued to hold above 22 usd/oz and recorded its highest level at 22,40 usd/oz at Borsa Istanbul. The closing was 22,10 usd/oz level. This means that white metal gained 0,36% of its value. At Borsa Istanbul, the highest silver transaction volume of recent times was 45,8 MT.
