LAST WEEK BEARS WERE ACTIVE AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Last week Gold started to session with over 1900 usd/oz and tried to keep this level. Highest price was recorded as 1914.10 usd/oz at Borsa Istanbul. Midweek Gold price rolled down since US private sector employment report gave enthusiasm to risk appetite. Some of market players changed their portfolios into papers. Yellow metal dropped below 1870 usd/oz. Borsa Istanbul closed the session with this level and lost %1.2 value. Last week after Borsa closed, USA non-farm payroll figures announced as below expectations. Spot price gained ground and reached again 1885 usd/oz level and gold recovered. Total volume was not so bright as remaining below 5 MT, but silver’s performance quite good. Totally over 17 MT silver changed hands. Bears also were active on silver and it lost %2.2 value.

Monday morning we see small discount at Borsa Istanbul.
