GOLD SHONE AT BORSA ISTANBUL

There was great interest in precious metals in the week when the China-Taiwan crisis and US employment data were announced. We observed that prices increased, especially on the gold side. Transaction volumes were also very high at Borsa Istanbul.

Gold continued to rise at Borsa Istanbul. Gold reached its highest level at 1795,75 usd/oz level. Yellow metal completed the week with 1779,50 usd/oz level. Despite this, yellow metal gained 1,98% value since previous week. Although the trading volume was lower than last week, it was as high as 9.8 MT at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, gold caught the sales wave and recorded the level of 1774,95 usd/oz at international markets.

Silver left behind a week in which it moved downwards compared to gold. Silver recorded its highest level at 20,49 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. The closing was 19,80 usd/oz level. Totally 39 MT silver changed hands. This means that investors, who take advantage of the movement in the price of silver, prefer to turn to silver by taking advantage of it.
