SILVER SHINED AT BORSA ISTANBUL AND 21 MT SILVER WERE TRADED

On the agenda, there were Fed’s meeting and central banks. As expected, the Fed did not change its interest rate decision. Precious metals bolstered after Fed president's dove-toned speech. Traded volume was also high at Borsa Istanbul.

Gold started to rise after the middle of the week. Gold exceeded the level of 1800 usd/oz and reached until 1816 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. When yellow metal reached over 1800 usd/oz some investors wanted to see their profits so gold regressed. Session closed with 1786,10 usd/oz level. Gold transaction volume was around 6 MT at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, yellow metal continued to rise and recorded its highest level at 1818 usd/oz level at international markets.

Silver's chart was almost identical to gold. Silver recorded its highest level at 24,10 usd/oz level and finished the week at the same level at Borsa Istanbul. Compared to previous week, silver trading volume was very high as 21 MT.
