HIGH PREMIUMS REALIZED AT BORSA ISTANBUL

On the agenda, there was Fed’s meeting. Precious metals left behind a partially positive week due to the Fed's rate hike and the President's optimistic speech. Due to the Ramadan holiday, trading volumes were also low at Borsa Istanbul.

Gold moved around 1890 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. Despite this, gold reached its highest level at 1920 usd/oz level. The closing was 1909 usd/oz level. This means that gold gained 0,85% of its value. Trading volume was only 3,1 MT at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, yellow metal caught the sales wave and rolled down until 1883 usd/oz level at international markets.

Silver moved sideways at Borsa Istanbul. Silver recorded its highest level at 23 usd/oz and ended the week at the same level. Compared to previous week, silver lost 0,86% value. Totally 11,3 MT silver changed hands at Borsa Istanbul. 

Borsa Istanbul started its Monday morning session with certain premiums up to 20 usd/oz. Premiums were pretty high last week too. Trading volumes appear to have improved relatively.
