On the agenda, there were OPEC and FED meetings. Markets also followed speeches from vaccine manufacturers. Due to these developments, the markets had a volatile week.
Gold had a lucrative week. Yellow metal reached its highest level at 1814 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. The closing was 1800 usd/oz level. Even if it couldn't close at its highest level, it gained 0,92% value. Compared to last week, it was a pretty good gain. Totally 5 MT gold changed hands at Borsa Istanbul.
When we look silverside, we can’t say that it was a profitable week for silver. White metal recorded its highest level at 26,79 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. But it couldn’t hold on this level and completed the week with 25,70 usd/oz. Silver lost 1,61% value. Despite this, silver trading volume was 16 MT at Borsa Istanbul. It was a very good trading volume.
