SILVER WAS TRADED OVER 20 MT AT BORSA ISTANBUL

On the agenda, there were the coronavirus mutant, the US Consumer Price Index and inflation data. As a result of these developments, precious metals had a volatile week. 

Last week gold could not hold on 1800 usd/oz level and after recorded its highest level at 1790 usd/oz at Borsa, started to roll down. The closing was 1771 usd/oz level.  Both in terms of price and transaction volume, last week was not a lucrative week for gold albeit yellow metal could stayed in green area. After Borsa session closed, gold recovered itself and rose to the level of 1782 usd/oz at international markets.

It hasn't been a dynamic week for silver. Silver completed the week 22,30 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. This level was also close to its highest level. This means that white metal lost 1,3% of its value. Trading volume was over 20 MT at Borsa Istanbul.
