Precious metals had a profitable week at Borsa Istanbul last week. US economic data was also followed closely.
Gold started the week with a rise and continued to rise until the end of the week. Gold reached its highest level as 1910 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. Despite this, yellow metal couldn’t hold on to this level and completed the week at 1888 usd/oz level. Compared the last week, gold gained 1,04% value. Gold demand were also good as 6.6 MT at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, gold caught in a wave of sales and came to 1877 usd/oz level at international markets.
Silver had a more volatile week unlike gold. Silver recorded its highest level with 28,22 usd/oz and finished the week at the same level at Borsa Istanbul. That means white metal gained 3.8 % value. It was a pretty good gain. Totally 13 MT silver changed hands at Borsa Istanbul. Compared to Borsa Istanbul, silver price came to 27,93 usd/oz level at international markets.
