Gold started the week with rise until the middle of the week. After the middle of the week, transactions in Borsa Istanbul stopped due to Ramadan holiday. Gold moved around 1829 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. The closing was 1833 usd/oz level. Compared to last week, yellow metal lost 0,33% value. Totally 1 MT gold changed hands at Borsa Istanbul. However, transactions continued in international markets and the price of gold reached the level of 1843 usd/oz.

When we look at the silverside, we see that silver’s move was parallel with gold. Silver recorded its highest level at 27,77 usd/oz and completed the week at 27,48 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. That means white metal gained almost 0,3% value. Silver’s transaction volume was 6 MT at Borsa Istanbul. The closing was 27,41 usd/oz level at international markets.
