BORSA ISTANBUL –  TURKEY’S GOLD PRODUCTION RAISED 20.4% IN 2018
Last week Borsa Istanbul was active with almost 3 MT Gold and more than 11 MT silver trading. Gold prices were also moved parallel way as spot prices and could not catch 1300 usd/oz level. After recording 1296 usd/oz as the highest of the week, gold regressed and on Friday saw 1284 usd/oz as the lowest. During the week Silver prices also rolled down and white metal lost 20 average cent. According to recent news coming from Gold producers in Turkey, the president of Gold Mining Association stated that 27.1 MT gold was produced in 2018. That means 20.4 increase according to previous year. Companies under Gold Mining Association, are providing employment to around 9000 people and President also emphasized that they reached the target that is promissed to government.
