PRECIOUS METALS FOLLOWED A FLUCTUATING WEEK AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Last week, precious metals waved in like 25 usd/oz price band. The rise in the dollar exchange rate and the US inflation data were on the agenda. The rise of the dollar exchange was reflected in the prices, but not in the transaction volume at Borsa Istanbul.

Gold had a week that it continued to rise. Yellow metal reached until 1879 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. Despite this, the closing was 1860,25 usd/oz level. Gold's gain was limited by 0,66% compared to the previous week. Totally almost 4 MT gold changed hands at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, gold couldn’t escape sales wave and recorded 1845,76 usd/oz level at international markets.

Silver's chart was almost identical to gold. Silver recorded its highest level at 25,20 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. However, white metal completed the week at 24,70 usd/oz level. Silver trading volume was 10 MT this week, as it was last week at Borsa Istanbul.

Borsa Istanbul market is quite at the beginning of the week. Market players prefer to stay close to flat. LBMA good delivery bars are being trading at Borsa Istanbul.
