PRECIOUS METALS RECOVERED AT BORSA ISTANBUL

Precious metals had a volatile week with Fed chairman's hawkish speeches. Despite this, gold and silver side recovered. Transaction volumes were also high at Borsa Istanbul.

Gold started to rise at Borsa Istanbul. Gold moved around 1820 usd/oz level and recorded its highest level at 1853,80 usd/oz level. The closing was 1835,55 usd/oz level. Compared to last week, yellow metal gained 0,19% value. Transaction volume was quite good as 12,9 MT at Borsa Istanbul. After Borsa session closed, gold rose until 1846 usd/oz level at international markets.

Silver also had a profitable week at Borsa Istanbul. Silver recorded its highest level at 21,85 usd/oz level and completed the week with the same level. This means that, silver gained 5,5% of its value. Totally 15 MT silver changed hands at Borsa Istanbul.
