Precious metals had a profitable week last week. No trading was made on Wednesday due to the public holiday on May 19. Despite this, gold and silver transaction volumes started to recover at Borsa Istanbul.
Gold remained horizontal until the middle of the week. Despite this, gold followed an upward course over the weekend. Gold recorded its highest level at 1884,70 usd/oz level. Yellow metal also completed the week at the same level at Borsa Istanbul. Gold traded volume was 6 MT at Borsa Istanbul. It was a pretty good trading volume after 4 weeks.
Silver had a straight week unlike gold. Silver moved around 28 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. The closing was 27,81 usd/oz level. Totally 18 MT silver changed hands at Borsa Istanbul.
