SILVER SHONE AT BORSA ISTANBUL

On the agenda, there were dicreasing of dollar index, vaccination actions and also increasing of coronavirus cases. Due to these developments, investors preferred safe investment instruments. In this way, precious metals followed a rising trend until the middle of the week. Despite this, precious metals completed the week with loss at Borsa Istanbul.

Gold had a volatile week at Borsa Istanbul. Gold price reached until 1800 usd/oz level. However, yellow metal completed the week at 1775 usd/oz level.  According to last week, gold lost almost 0,3% value. Gold transaction volume was quite low as 5 MT at Borsa Istanbul.

Silver had a more profitable week than gold. Silver moved around 25,86 usd/oz level at Borsa Istanbul. The closing was the same as its highest at 26.65 usd/oz level. Compared to last week, silver lost 3.7 % value at Borsa. It was a pretty good gain. Silver traded volume was higher than last week as 32 MT at Borsa Istanbul.
